Just read your recent blog about Marin French Cheese and wanted to suggest something broader since there are some world class artisan cheese makers in the same area around Marin French. One is Cowgirl Creamery which is in Pt. Reyes and Petaluma, has tours at both operations and has won many awards. In fact, Sonoma County is the home of California’s happy cows and there are lots of great cheeses coming from this area, including some award-winning goat cheeses - happy cows aside. Every March in Petaluma, the area’s best cheese makers come together at the Sonoma County - Petaluma Sheraton Hotel for the Artisan Cheese Festival which is three days of cheese heaven including tours and marketplace. Take my word for it, you could do a great blog about all the cheese options in this area. Please feel free to e-mail me if you’d like more information. I was the Media Relations Director at the Petaluma Visitors Program and I can provide lots more details including contacts.
I look after the publicity for CiaoBellaTravel.com.au and was wondering if you might be interested in speaking with our Founder Kirsty Keane about overseas travel tips for women in 2010?
My name is Michaela and I work for a new real-time geo publishing platform for travelers called OnTheRoad.to (www.OnTheRoad.to).I would like to kindly ask you, if you would be interested in reviewing/giving us a feedback about our travel application.
We would be delighted to hear your opinion. We didn’t have a chance to hear an opinion from any Australian travel fans, such as you are!
Thank you in advance for your time and consideration!
Great collection but the following wasn’t strictly a gaffe but surprisingly well-informed! Regarding the eating habits of the Cantonese: “If it has got four legs and it is not a chair, if it has got two wings and it flies but is not an aeroplane, and if it swims and it is not a submarine, the Cantonese will eat it.” This is actually a near-perfect translation of a very well-known Chinese saying and the Cantonese themselves are proud of it,because it means they have the greatest variety in their local Cuisine. It sounds shocking to our ears but it is very unlikely any Chinese would feel insulted, they may have even been impressed! This was almost out of character for Phil!!
